One night, while backing out of my driveway, going to rent movies with my cousin. I backed out a little crooked, and ended up partially in the grass. I could not see that my dog was in the grass next to the driveway. I bet you can guess what happened. That’s right, I accidentally ran over my own dog. I did feel a bump, so I immediately stopped, looked up, staring me right in the eye was poor Big Red, crying so loudly that my mom heard from inside the house. She ran outside and called the dog. Red had stopped crying and walked very slowly towards her, we could tell he was hurting badly.

Physics professor confident his time machine will work A physics professor says he is building a time machine that will transport things to the future or the past. Ronald Mallett says his machine could transport anything from an atom to a person. The University of Connecticut professor hopes to have a working model and start experiments this autumn. He told the Boston Globe he's basing his work on Einstein's theory of relativity. He says the project is serious and added: "I'm not a nut."
